Philosophy:

I view counseling as a collaborative and curious process. I see students as experts in their own lives and together we work to better understand emotions, highlight strengths, set goals, build resilience, reflect, and grow. I seek to create a space for students to be heard, feel supported, and learn practical skills to enhance wellbeing.

I am a person of mixed caucasian and hispanic heritage who works with students of various identities and backgrounds. As a generalist practice practitioner, I can address a large variety of concerns and do so by integrating a variety of therapeutic modalities. I especially enjoy working with persons experiencing: life transitions, situational stressors, identity development, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship concerns, athletic performance and chronic illness.

When not in the office you can find me traveling and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities with people who bring me joy!
